Arts Alliance is looking to become a more fully robust regional arts advocacy group, like so many other communities have created across the United States.  We have done significant work toward this effort: choosing a more appropriate name and new brand; working with a senior advisory group, the heads and prior board chairs of the major arts groups, and commissioning a first-ever regional economic impact study relating to the arts throughout South Hampton Roads to be delivered Fall of 2023.

Probably the most crucial part of this effort will be harnessing the energy, power, and ideas of the broad group of business and volunteer leaders that serve the arts.  Toward that end, we are forming The Arts100: a network of like-minded volunteer arts leaders that will come together to engage around the Arts, advocate for the next steps in growth and change, and collaborate on projects that further strengthen our cultural community.
